Sr Anna Carey was very well-known for her work in Hospice ministry.  She was co-founder of St. Francis Hospice in Port Elizabeth. The annual award ongoing since 2014 has been established in her memory reflecting her values of devotion, dedication and commitment.  (see further details below)
